              Conclusion

We recommend that waste management personnel strictly respect: Improve management practices Reduce risks to protect and secure: Hospitalized patients - Nursing staff - Disposal staff - Visiting public - Hospital environment - External environment This study has made it possible to understand the stages of hospital waste management as well as their harmful consequences on the environment (smoke released, leachate).
