Personal data

For nursing people who use or drink alcohol pattern

Data and time of last drink - tremors, hallucinations, delusions or delirium tremens (DTs).

Objective data: must be evaluated

Abnormal response to preoperative medications, anesthesia or sedatives, or performance [6:39 pm, 19/04/2024] Israa Meslh: Mental, etc. Blood tests indicated A - Increased liver enzymes B - Hypoglycemia C - Low Mg2+ level etc. Urine testing is not used to detect alcohol because it is metabolized very quickly. Blood alcohol levels are more accurate: as an activity in carrying anxiety - denial, in fear. - Increase or decrease in fluids - Maintaining health - In urine - Infection, injury - Deficit in self-care. 3- Implementation: A- Primary prevention: Helping pts prevent alcohol and drug problems before they begin. The key to prevention is education. More & more programs are developed to detect substance abusers.

c- Tertiary prevention:

• Hepatic = Hepatitis, cirrhoses

= Ca of mouth and esophagus, Irritation of stomach or pancreas etc

2- GTI

3- Neurological = Brain disease, neuropathies disorder of peripheral nervous

4- Cardio vascular = CHF. Increase BP. Increase cholesterol level, decrease blood

level etc-

5- Musculoskeletal = Disorder of muscles (myopathies) gout etc. 6- Immunological = Increase susceptibility to infection.

7- Skin

= Absesses, rashes

8- Psychological

= Depression, anxiety etc

4- Evaluation:

CHN needs to assess the entire family system, to ensure that all members are Moving to ward recovery
