I used a structured online questionnaire with 12 close-ended questions as the research tool for collecting the data.Furthermore, the study found that the most effective electronic games used for language learning among university students are mobile apps, educational video games, simulation games with language elements, and online games that include language learning features.

I used a structured online questionnaire with 12 close-ended questions as the
research tool for collecting the data. I distributed the online questionnaire to the sample
that consist of 30 students from levels 7 and 8 in the Department of Foreign Languages at
Jazan University. This sample was chosen from these levels because they are relevant and
can provide valuable data about the effects of electronic games on language learning.
I analyzed the data statistically and the findings show that Electronic games are
very effective in improving vocabulary, pronunciation, reading comprehension, and
writing skills among university students.The findings also show that Learning through
games is enjoyable and provides valuable real-life language context, but it can also distract
from traditional learning methods and may lack depth for serious study. Furthermore, the
study found that the most effective electronic games used for language learning among

language elements, and online games that include language learning features.
