For Cu, it is observed that the highest effi- ciency is presented by the sample D1174, which has a fairlylowCEC(13.6meq/100g),andfortheremovalof Pb, the sample D1176 presents the lowest removal efficiency and the lowest value of CEC, and the sample D1172 has the highest CEC, and although it does not have the highest removal efficiency (59.76 %/g), its valueiscomparablewithD1174,which isthe diatomite with the highest removal efficiency for Pb (62.79 %/g).
