Sur la radiographies du thorax, on observe une adénopathie médiastinale isolée ou compliquée d'un trouble deventilation, plus rarement un complexe primaire(nodule intra parenchymateux avec une adénopathie hilaire satellite) La tuberculose aiguë disséminée post-primaire se voit habituellement chez l'enfant de moins de 5 ans: miliaire aiguë fébrile, méningite aiguë isolée, méningo-miliaire

Des symptômes respiratoires: toux persistante, hémoptysie de petite abondance
Des symptômes généraux: anorexie, amaigrissement, asthénie, fièvre persistante et sueurs nocturnes
Des signes radiologiques: nodules, infiltrats, caverne...
