After a successful tenure in Connecticut - which included winning WNBA Coach of the Year in 2023 - White has returned to a team she has previously coached and played for.Clark expressed her excitement during The Bird and Taurasi Show, as she said: "I'm excited."In the play-offs [last season] we didn't have that, we were a young group. Whether it's DB [DeWanna Bonner] or Natasha Howard, whoever it is, I think having that experience is going to be really good for us and that leadership in the locker room."Despite her impressive track record, the former Iowa Hawkeyes standout has remained coy about her former coach since Sides parted ways with the Fever."We've added a lot more experience," Clark said.

These offseason moves have further fueled Clark's anticipation for the season ahead.

I wish."

This remark caused a stir among Fever supporters, some of whom speculated that Sides may not have provided the necessary game-time guidance or mentorship that Clark could have benefited from in her debut season.Yet, with the introduction of new coach White, there's a renewed sense of optimism. The seasoned 47-year-old has commended Clark's dedication to improving her game and believes that at 23 years old, she's peaking just in time for the upcoming campaign.
