practitioner in the case of sickness. A published notice of the individual's death would verify that form of absence. A picture of a marriage license would work if the student was missing class due to getting married.

Trainee: What if an individual gets really sick and has to miss a significant amount of class? Trainer: extended sick leave does happen. For that, the individual must notify Student Affairs

and submit the proper proof to them. Student Affairs will then notify the instructor and the

Trainer: One last thing. Remember that even if the student has a valid, accepted excuse for their absence, it will still impact the student's attendance grade in the course. Any missed work will have to be made up, and the student is solely responsible for finding out what he or she may have missed.
