This study explores the changes in security diplomacy within Algerian foreign policy following the amendments to the 2020 Constitution.This balanced stance reflects the application of pragmatic interest principles within the strategic framework of Algerian diplomacy.The study employs a systems analysis approach, which is well-suited for analyzing foreign policy and international relations, as it considers various factors such as the environment, inputs, transformation processes, outputs, feedback, and Algeria's geographical, political, military, and economic determinants.The analysis highlights recent developments and their implications for Algeria's regional and international policies, as well as the effects of the 2020 constitutional amendments on its security diplomatic outcomes in response to regional and global challenges.The research focuses on how the 2020 constitutional amendments impact the effectiveness of Algeria's foreign policy transformation and the activation of its security diplomacy on both regional and global stages.The goal is to examine the shifts in Algerian foreign policy in light of these amendments, particularly in terms of reactivating security diplomacy amid rising security threats and political instability in neighboring countries.The study finds that the 2020 constitutional amendments have allowed Algeria to reclaim its regional and international role in several key issues, such as the situation in Libya, Niger, and Mali.
