The public health response involves several critical components aimed at addressing and mitigating health issues. One key strategy is the implementation of supplemental immunization activities (SIA) specifically targeting children under the age of 15. This initiative is crucial for boosting immunity levels and preventing the spread of contagious diseases among the younger population. In addition to immunization efforts, active case search is conducted to identify and manage cases effectively. For those identified with fever and rash, the administration of Vitamin A is carried out as a preventive measure to reduce the severity of symptoms and enhance recovery.
To support these efforts, there is a concerted effort to deploy human resources to improve surveillance in the affected provinces. Furthermore, the procurement of reagents for laboratory testing is an essential step in confirming diagnoses and guiding appropriate treatment protocols. This is complemented by the strengthening of routine immunization efforts, which includes conducting capacity building sessions for healthcare workers and updating clinical management guidelines
