First aid guide: poisoning, stroke, heart attack, diabetic low sugar.

1. Sudden Poisoning

Signs:

Nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain
Confusion or reduced consciousness
Burns/redness around mouth (chemical exposure)

Treatment:

Ensure scene safety
Check ABC (airway, breathing, circulation)
Call emergency services
Identify poison if possible
Do NOT induce vomiting
Rinse mouth only if safe
Monitor until help arrives
2. Stroke (FAST)

Signs:

Face drooping
Arm weakness
Speech problems

Treatment:

Call emergency services immediately
Note time symptoms started
Keep person calm and seated
Do not give food or drink
Monitor ABC
Recovery position if unconscious but breathing
3. Heart Attack

Signs:

Chest pain/pressure (may spread to arm/jaw/back)
Shortness of breath
Sweating, nausea, dizziness

Treatment:

Call emergency services immediately
Help sit in half-sitting position
Loosen tight clothing
Keep calm and reassure
Assist with aspirin if appropriate
4. Diabetes (Hypoglycemia – Low Blood Sugar)

Signs:

Sweating, shakiness
Confusion or irritability
Drowsiness or unconsciousness

Treatment:

If conscious: give fast sugar (juice, glucose, sweets)
Then give slow-release carbs (e.g., sandwich)
If unconscious:
Do NOT give food or drink
Recovery position
Call emergency services
Monitor ABC
