In Willow Creek, a school bus accident occurred when a truck slid into it on a rainy day. Mr. Harris, the bus driver, braked but couldn't avoid the collision. While the bus was damaged and the kids scared, thankfully only minor injuries resulted. Emergency services responded, and students continued to school on a different bus.
The Day the Bus Stopped Once upon a time, in a small town called Willow Creek, there was a big, yellow school bus. Every day, it would rumble down the street, picking up kids and taking them to school. The kids loved riding the bus because they could chat with their friends and play games. One rainy day, the bus driver, Mr. Harris, was driving down a slippery road. Suddenly, a big, red truck slid out of control and came right towards the bus! Mr. Harris slammed on the brakes, but it was too late. The truck bumped into the back of the bus. The bus shook and rattled, and all the kids inside gasped. Thankfully, no one was hurt too badly. A few kids had small bumps and bruises, but they were all okay. The firefighters and paramedics came to help, and the police made sure the road was safe. After the accident, the kids were taken to school in another bus. They talked about the scary experience for days, but they were also grateful that everyone was safe.
