Number of Line Crossings in Closed Arms In the elevated plus maze test, the mean number of lines crossed into the closed arm of the maze was higher in the diazepam-treated mice (111.6) compared to the control group (85.2).This might suggest the response to the locomotor activity was more pronounced, or the calming effects of the standard anxiolytic drug was more active.

In the Ashwagandha 500 mg group, there was a further increase in the mean number of lines crossed into the closed arm (105.2), indicating a similar effect to the 250 mg group, albeit with a slightly higher activity.
