The two older boys study at the Salah al-Din Boys School in Bethlehem, which is close to the house. They may go there on foot. As for the 11-year-old girl (N), she studies at the Ibdaa Foundation in the Dheisheh camp.

The family is a nuclear, non-extended family. No one of the father’s relatives or the mother’s relatives lives with them in the house. They live in a house of their own, on the second floor next to the husband’s brothers.
The mother works as a housewife, taking care of the children, cooking, cleaning the house, and buying household needs. The father works on a car and drives around the Bethlehem Governorate selling gas cylinders.

All the children are young and none of them are married.
The family lives in good economic conditions. The father provides all the basic requirements for the house, and there are no deficiencies or debts. His work is daily throughout the week, except for Friday.
There are also their own shops that the husband rents to people for good sums.
