Abstract
Problem: The Palestinian educational system faces significant challenges in delivering personalized learning experiences due to overcrowded classrooms, limited resources, and the absence of intelligent assessment tools. Students struggle with self-directed learning, lacking personalized guidance that adapts to their individual learning pace and style. Teachers find it increasingly difficult to monitor each student's progress individually, especially in large classroom settings where one-on-one attention becomes nearly impossible. Traditional educational approaches follow a "one-size-fits-all" methodology that fails to address the diverse learning needs of students, resulting in learning gaps and decreased academic performance. Additionally, there is a critical shortage of Arabic educational technology tools that align with local curriculum standards, forcing educators to rely on expensive foreign platforms that do not cater to Palestinian educational requirements.
Objectives and Aims: This project aims to develop EduFlex, an innovative artificial intelligence-powered educational web platform specifically designed to address the unique needs of the Palestinian educational system. The primary objective is to create a comprehensive digital learning environment that integrates seamlessly with the Palestinian curriculum while providing personalized learning experiences for students in grades 7-10. The platform seeks to leverage cutting-edge AI technologies to analyze student performance patterns, identify learning gaps, and provide adaptive learning paths that adjust to individual student capabilities. Secondary objectives include empowering teachers with sophisticated analytics tools to monitor student progress effectively, providing real-time performance insights, and creating a scalable solution that can be expanded to serve the broader Arabic-speaking educational community while remaining accessible and free of charge.
Methodology: The development methodology follows an Agile approach with iterative development cycles to ensure rapid prototyping and continuous improvement. The technical architecture employs a modern microservices approach with Next.js serving as the frontend framework, providing server-side rendering capabilities and optimal performance for educational content delivery. The backend infrastructure utilizes Laravel (PHP) framework with MySQL database for robust data management and user authentication systems. The artificial intelligence component is developed using Python with Flask framework, integrating machine learning libraries including scikit-learn and TensorFlow for advanced student performance analysis and adaptive learning algorithms. The AI module communicates with the main platform through RESTful API endpoints, enabling scalable and maintainable architecture. The development process includes comprehensive requirement analysis, user experience design, iterative development phases, rigorous testing procedures, and deployment optimization for various device types and network conditions prevalent in the Palestinian context.
Results: The expected outcomes include a fully functional intelligent educational platform that demonstrates significant improvements in student engagement and learning outcomes. The platform will feature adaptive testing mechanisms that classify students into appropriate skill levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced), personalized learning path recommendations based on AI analysis of student interactions, comprehensive performance analytics dashboards for teachers and administrators, real-time progress tracking systems, and integrated content management capabilities aligned with Palestinian curriculum standards. Additional results include improved teacher efficiency in monitoring student progress, reduced educational disparities through personalized learning experiences, enhanced student motivation through gamified learning elements, and the creation of a scalable technological foundation for future educational innovations in the region.
Conclusions & Recommendations: EduFlex represents a transformative approach to educational technology in the Palestinian context, addressing critical gaps through innovative AI-driven personalization while maintaining strong alignment with local curriculum standards. The platform demonstrates the potential for technology to bridge educational disparities and provide equitable learning opportunities regardless of classroom size or resource limitations. Future recommendations include expanding the platform to cover additional grade levels and subjects, implementing advanced natural language processing for Arabic content analysis, developing mobile applications for offline learning capabilities, and establishing partnerships with educational institutions for broader adoption and continuous improvement based on real-world usage data.

يواجه النظام التعليمي الفلسطيني تحديات كبيرة في تقديم تجارب تعليمية شخصية بسبب الصفوف المكتظة والموارد المحدودة وغياب أدوات التقييم الذكية. يعاني الطلاب من صعوبات في التعلم الذاتي، حيث يفتقرون إلى التوجيه الشخصي الذي يتكيف مع وتيرة وأسلوب التعلم الفردي لكل منهم. كما يجد المعلمون صعوبة متزايدة في مراقبة تقدم كل طالب على حدة، خاصة في البيئات الصفية الكبيرة حيث يصبح الاهتمام الفردي أمراً شبه مستحيل.
يهدف هذا المشروع إلى تطوير منصة EduFlex، وهي منصة تعليمية ويب مبتكرة مدعومة بالذكاء الاصطناعي ومصممة خصيصاً لتلبية الاحتياجات الفريدة للنظام التعليمي الفلسطيني. تسعى المنصة إلى الاستفادة من تقنيات الذكاء الاصطناعي المتطورة لتحليل أنماط أداء الطلاب، وتحديد الفجوات التعليمية، وتوفير مسارات تعلم متكيفة تتناسب مع قدرات كل طالب على حدة.
تتبع منهجية التطوير نهجاً رشيقاً مع دورات تطوير متكررة لضمان النمذجة السريعة والتحسين المستمر. تستخدم البنية التقنية نهج الخدمات المصغرة الحديث مع Next.js كإطار عمل للواجهة الأمامية، و Laravel (PHP) للواجهة الخلفية مع قاعدة بيانات MySQL. يتم تطوير مكون الذكاء الاصطناعي باستخدام Python مع Flask، ودمج مكتبات التعلم الآلي بما في ذلك scikit-learn و TensorFlow لتحليل أداء الطلاب المتقدم وخوارزميات التعلم التكيفي.
تشمل النتائج المتوقعة منصة تعليمية ذكية تعمل بكامل طاقتها وتظهر تحسينات كبيرة في مشاركة الطلاب ونتائج التعلم. ستتميز المنصة بآليات اختبار تكيفية وتوصيات مسارات تعلم شخصية ولوحات تحليلات أداء شاملة للمعلمين والإداريين وأنظمة تتبع التقدم في الوقت الفعلي.
تمثل EduFlex نهجاً تحويلياً في التكنولوجيا التعليمية في السياق الفلسطيني، حيث تعالج الفجوات الحرجة من خلال التخصيص المبتكر المدفوع بالذكاء الاصطناعي مع الحفاظ على التوافق القوي مع معايير المناهج المحلية.
