The World Wide Web or simply the Web is different from the Internet.However, domain names are translated to their equivalent Internet Protocol (IP) addresses to allow networking devices reach the designated server.Most of them provide similar features and their main role is interact with the web server hosting the desired webpage to fetch and display it. government. The public had not used it for the most part because it was complex and you had
to have a computer in order to access it, which not everyone did. In 1989 Tim Berners-Lee came
up with the World Wide Web as a way for organizing information, make it public for everyone
and placed in the Internet. The Web is not owned by one single business or person, but the
webpages are. A collection of related web pages, such as all the pages of a company, is known
as a website. Websites are hosted on a web server that is reachable through the Internet.
Therefore, the Web is a part of the Internet which is interconnected pages of information stored

 www: stands for World Wide Web. This indicates that you consider the web domain or
content on the server you are going to be accessing.
 mohp.gov.eg: is the domain name. That’s the name of the website you are visiting.
 Everything that comes after the domain name is a path on the server to the page or
content you want. For example, theducation/index.html is the file path containing the
content you want.
 The forward slashes (/) in the address are separators.
