Trainer: I would be glad to. Every day, there will be seven sessions, each lasting one hour. A student will be considered absent if they are late to any of these sessions. A student will not be admitted late to a session, but will be allowed to attend the following session as normal.

Trainee: So tardiness is not permitted?

Trainer: A student is allowed to be tardy by only five minutes to a normal, one-hour session. If a student has to leave early from a session, it will also be considered an absence, and the absence will have to be reported.

Trainee: Is there ever any deviation from this schedule of seven one-hour sessions?

Trainee: How does this absence policy impact a student's grades for the course?

Trainer: A student that does not have at least an 80% attendance record will not be able to take the final exam, thus making it impossible for a student to pass the course.

Trainee: Is there a maximum amount of absences a student may incur before being forced to drop the course?

Trainer: A student will be given a warning after they reach three absences. Unless there is a noted accepted excuse such as medical leave, seven absences will be the final warning and result in a conference with Student Affairs.
