Ahmed Mazen Al-Shugairi is of Palestinian origins.He also won the Best youth media personality in the third youth media forum in Jordan, and he was placed 143 in a list of 500 of the most influential Arab figures in the Arab world according to a survey published by Arabian Business magazine.His family is from the Shqirat tribe, who historically lives in south the Levant (Palestine and Jordan) and North Arabia (Saudi Arabia), and his family origin is from Acre[4] but due to the refugee exodus of Palestinians in 1948 after the declaration of the establishment of the State of Israel, they settled in Jeddah.Ahmed Mazen Al-Shugairi is also the grandson of the politician Ahmed Asaad Al-Shugairi, head of the Palestine Liberation Organization.[5]

Personal life Alshugairi was born in the city of Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.He is the host of Khawatir, an annual TV show that aired during Ramadan from 2005 to 2015.[7] He currently hosts a new program called Qomrah which airs on MBC during Ramadan.Ahmad Alshugairi married twice; upon divorcing his first wife Yasmine, he married his second, Rola Dashisha, who is also his costume designer in Khawatir 5 & 6.After graduating from Manarat high school in Jeddah he moved to the United States where he received his B.A. in Management Systems, and an MBA at California State University-Long Beach.[6]
