Improved Design Description
According to the evaluation process, the old design has suffered from many problems which are related to user experience. Therefore, the best user interface guidelines have been followed when improving the interfaces. Therefore, the improved design addresses all the flaws and problems by the use of the eight golden rules. The addressed improvements are as follows.

• Adding borders between items to allow users to differentiate between them.
• Allowing functions to be clear with clear informative text.
• Minimizing the number of steps taken.

By prioritizing the needs of users throughout the design and development process, user-centered design (UCD) enhances existing software process models in the context of food ordering applications. UCD places a strong emphasis on comprehending the requirements, preferences, and behaviors of users, whereas other software process models concentrate on tasks like requirements collecting, coding, and testing. UCD guarantees that the application is straightforward, user-friendly, and in line with user expectations by integrating user feedback and including users in the design process. It contributes to the development of a more engaging and fulfilling user experience, increasing adoption rates and user satisfaction.

In the context of a touch-based food ordering application, there are various models, styles, and paradigms that contribute to a seamless human-computer interaction (HCI) experience. One commonly used model is the Agile Model, which facilitates iterative and incremental development. This model allows for flexibility and collaboration with stakeholders, enabling frequent feedback and adaptability to changing user needs. For the style, a touch-based interface is employed, leveraging gestures and touch interactions for users to navigate and interact with the application.
