All friends joke about with one another, but it can be difficult to determine whether someone is joking or attempting to harm you, especially when it's done online. They may dismiss it with a "just kidding" or "don't take it so seriously" at times.
However, the joke has gone too far if you feel offended or believe that people are laughing at you rather than with you. Bullying may have occurred if the behavior persists after you have requested them to stop and you are still upset about it. Additionally, when bullying occurs online, it may draw unwanted attention from strangers as well as other people. If you are unhappy with it, you shouldn't have to put up with it, no matter where it occurs.
Whatever you call it, it's worth getting help if you're feeling awful and it doesn't go away. Calling out bullies is only one aspect of stopping cyberbullying; another is acknowledging that everyone deserves respect, both in person and online.
