In 1978, a number of distinct organisations came together to form "Al Rajhi Trading and Banking Corporation," which was then known by the name Al Rajhi. Under the auspices of Al Rajhi Trading and Banking corporation, the bank was founded in 1988 as a Saudi joint stock corporation. The Al Rajhi Banking and Investment Corporation name was then changed to Al Rajhi Bank in 2006. Al Rajhi Bank is a key player in realising Saudi Vision 2030, which has three main pillars: a thriving economy, an aspirational nation, and a dynamic society. The bank is well-positioned to fulfil the Kingdom's goals, policies, and plans as it moves closer to realising the vision in the upcoming years, since many of the goals of the vision include a financial component. Entering the year 2020, Al Rajhi Bank faced a serious cyber invasion through digital fraud on bank accounts, causing an obstruction in the flow of electronic services. Personal login can be done through various methods, including phishing attacks, which use private or hidden Internet messages to trick people into revealing important information. Malware also develops tools used to gain unauthorized access to your device's data and encrypt it. The consequences of fraud can be severe, resulting in the loss of bank customers. This problem started to disappear nowadays and the situation became safer when bank managers started using management information systems. The role of management information systems (MIS) in combating bank account fraud is critical in protecting financial transactions, protecting customer accounts from unauthorized activity, and creating a safer electronic banking experience.
