Enclosures are areas surrounded by barriers for several reasons. One of the solutions proposed in
this research was moving Arabian Oryx to enclosures to keep them safe from hunting. In 1961,
operation Oryx was introduced, and a tiny number of Oryx were sent to enclosures and private zoos.
Such a decision helped captive breeding, which helped recover Oryx’s numbers. Advanced programs
with careful management and health care increased the number of reintroductions. Also, strict laws
were introduced to prevent illegal trade in Arabian Oryx, which tightened up the choices for
poachers and made many of them stop hunting. Analysis regarding the historical situation of the
problem suggested focusing on both short and long sustainability goals. Coordination of the
countries that have this endangered specie helped reduce sources of problems and solve the
problem effectively.
