Last winter, I went on a camping holiday to the desert in the United Arab Emirates with a group of close friends. We decided to explore the vast desert landscape near Liwa Oasis, known for its stunning dunes and serene beauty. Packed with our camping gear, food supplies, and plenty of water, we embarked on our adventure. Upon reaching our camping spot, we set up our tents amidst the golden sands, eagerly anticipating the starry night ahead. During the day, we indulged in thrilling activities like dune bashing in 4x4 vehicles, sandboarding down the steep slopes, and exploring the desert on camelback. As the sun set, we gathered around the campfire, sharing laughter, stories, and delicious barbecue under the twinkling desert sky. The peacefulness of the desert, the warmth of companionship, and the thrill of adventure made this camping holiday truly unforgettable. It was a unique experience that filled me with a sense of awe and gratitude for the beauty of the UAE's desert landscape and the bond of friendship.
