Throughout history, religion has been abused and misunderstood.It is in this sense that Islam has been, and will continue to be the true universal religion of God, the One and Changeless.The true followers of Abraham, Moses and Jesus-- the Holy Qur'an asserts--have all been called MUSLIMS.Others, furthermore, manipulated it as a source of power and domination over the elite and the masses alike.3- It should be borne in mind that Islam was not preached by prophet Muhammad alone.In the name of religion, oppressed, science has been persecuted, and man's dignity and honour have been debased.Besides, it appeals to the human nature which is fundamentally the same, irrespective of time, place, race, age or any other consideration.The indisputable answer is an emphatic 'no'!

proper function of religion, or the right approach to it? The
indisputable answer is an emphatic ‘no’! There are many religions
in the world; each one claims to be the one and only true religion.
Yet, true religion must come from God for the right guidance of
man. In this respect, the Islamic concept of religion is unique in the
broadest sense of the word.
3- It should be borne in mind that Islam was not preached by prophet
Muhammad alone. It had been taught by all the prominent prophets
before him. The true followers of Abraham, Moses and Jesus-- the
Holy Qur’an asserts—have all been called MUSLIMS. It is in this
sense that Islam has been, and will continue to be the true universal
religion of God, the One and Changeless. Besides, it appeals to the
human nature which is fundamentally the same, irrespective of
