Based on the procedure that gaved , we can able to see different colors spread on the chromatography paper as the pigments separate.These pigments have different colors because they contain various chlorophyll types like chlorophyll a and chlorophyll b. The separation occurs because each pigment travels at a different rate due to its unique chemical properties.By marking and identifying these spots, you can analyze the composition of the leaf extract and understand the different pigments present in the leaves.

These pigments have different colors because they contain various chlorophyll types like chlorophyll a and chlorophyll b. moreover, we measured the distance traveled by each color pigment on the chromatography paper, which indicates how far each pigment has moved from the original spot. This distance helps us calculate the Rf values for each pigment, which is a useful way to compare and identify different compounds in the leaf extract.
