Worker: That means a lot that you would take time to talk to me before our meeting.
I need to let our department know about the team project that I have been running. . I’m stuck on ideas, so I would love to brainstorm with some of our other department leaders for new ideas.

By reading your list of topics and points that you have written out from there, it’s much easier to stay on topic.

Manager: Our department is very good about scheduling, so I don’t expect anyone to show up late.

Manager: I will conference call some of the other departments after our meeting, but we should not have to do that during your presentation. I will take care of calling them all at the same time to get their opinions, and all you have to do is give your presentation.
