Ocean exploration VS. exploration Exploring new areas is always important. It is both important to explore oceans and explore space. But which one is more important and can benefit people?

The ocean covers more than 70% of the Earth, yet we've explored only around 5% of it. This means there is so much more to explore in the ocean. The one reason we haven't explored as much of the ocean is because of space. For those who dream of exploring outer space, the development of high-tech spacecraft is essential. But just one spaceship costs billions of dollars. The ocean, however, has major benefits: providing food, medicine, and the air we breathe. Oceans can bring much more to the table, if we would simply explore more of them. Space provides both medicinal and technological advancements, yet the ocean not only brings those about, but also has more benefits including jobs. Oceans benefit people in many ways, one of them is income.

For food, Thousands of people eat fish and the number keeps on growing. Fish is an important source of protein for poor people on Earth, but NASA will not feed the world with whatever it finds or plans to grow on Mars, Jupiter, or any other place. The oceans are likely to be of great help. With food, energy. That leaves space feeling quite unsuitable compared to the deep ocean.

On the other hand, Space has also provided many new human experiences, such as zero gravity training. This training has showed various effects on the human body, helping scientist to better analyze the human body.

To sum up, it's clearly better to give attention, time and money to explore the ocean than outer space. It is cheaper and more useful. Oceans benefit people in many ways that are more practical than any benefit from space exploration.
