Esta investigación hipotetiza una relación entre adicción a internet y trastornos del sueño en estudiantes universitarios. Se plantean sub-hipótesis sobre el aumento de la adicción a internet y los trastornos del sueño en este grupo. Los objetivos son identificar la relación entre ambos, el grado de adicción a internet en estudiantes universitarios, cómo la adicción afecta los trastornos del sueño y si existen diferencias entre sexos. La importancia del estudio radica en comprender la creciente adicción a internet, un problema que afecta a jóvenes universitarios, provocando trastornos psicológicos y fisiológicos como depresión, evasión y trastornos del sueño, requiriendo mayor investigación.

General hypothesis:
There is a relationship between Internet addiction and sleep disorders among university students
1/The following sub-hypotheses emerge from this hypothesis:The level of Internet addiction increases among university students.
2/The level of sleep disorders increases among university students.
Study objectives:The current study seeks to achieve a set of the following objectives:
1/Identify the relationship between Internet addiction and sleep disorders
2/Identify the degree of Internet addiction among university students
3/Reveal how Internet addiction affects sleep disorders
4/Reveal whether there are differences between the sexes in Internet addiction and sleep disorders
Importance of the study:The importance of the study is due to shedding light on the phenomenon of Internet addiction, which has become a threat and appeals to all age groups, especially the youth (university students) who suffer from psychological disorders and physiological changes, which leads to their exposure to psychological and behavioral disorders such as depression, escapism, and sleep disorders, which have become among the most modern disorders and require many studies by researchers and specialists to reduce the severity of addiction.
